The thing I heard from Adobe Illustrator ace Derek Ring is what makes Illustrator better than Photoshop is the fact that you can blow up an image to about the size of your wall and it won't pixilate. Although, I'm still new to the whole digital artwork game. I just learned how to do speech balloons and lettering on Photoshop in the past couple of years. I probably gave my poor Computer Coloring Professor in college fits and ulcers because I could never wrap my brain around being able to do all the techniques that go into preparing your images for coloring.
